If you are a consultant or a company which recommends Formwork to other companies, the Formwork affiliate program is a great way of earning some commissions on the side.
We currently offer 15% commission on all companies you refer which subscribe to Formwork QMS + Techdoc. As Formwork QMS + Techdoc is priced at 499 euros per month, that results in a commission of 74.85€ / month for each company which you refer. We don't offer a commission on Formwork Starter (99€ / month) because it's already priced extremely affordably and our main goal with Formwork Starter is to enable early stage lean founder driven companies to enter the market at a very affordable price. Or, in other words, we're not making a whole lot of money on Formwork Starter (nervous chuckle).
The commission also covers upgrades. So if you e.g. refer a company who purchases Formwork Starter (which results in no commission), and that company later upgrades to Formwork QMS + Techdoc, then you will start receiving a commission starting with the point in time when the company has upgraded.
How Does It Work?
To get started with the Formwork affiliate program, you need to sign up for Formwork yourself. Simply create a Formwork account - no special account is needed, so just sign up as a normal company.
Next, in the top right corner, select Settings and navigate to Affiliate Program. Here's how it looks:

As you can see, you have to enter some data of your company to become ready for our affiliate program. Importantly, as a German company with German bookkeepers, we need your company name, address, country, and that ID if you're a European company. That's because every month we will generate an invoice which covers the affiliate commission which we will pay you.
Once you have entered your data, you can view your affiliate link:

Click copy on the right side to copy the link and send it to whichever company you would like to refer to Formwork.
That's it! When the company signs up, they will see a small hint which confirms that they are being referred by you.
Further below on the screenshot, you can see a list of companies which you've referred and the current subscription they've purchased. So, for example, if some of them are on Formwork Starter, you will see that, and if some others are on Formwork QMS + Techdoc, you will see that, too.
Monthly Invoicing At the end of every month, Formwork will automatically generate the invoice which covers our monthly payment to you as an affiliate. You can view this invoice and past invoices in the affiliate view which we covered above.
You will also be able to provide your bank details for the bank transfer which we will make to your account every month.

Differences to other eQMS providers
We are not the only eQMS provider to offer an affiliate program which pays out commissions. However, in our experience, our affiliate program is different in a few key areas:
You get the commission for life: As long as your referred company is subscribed to QMS + Techdoc, you receive your monthly commission. There is no expiry date. Other eQMS companies tend to only pay commissions for 1-2 years.
You get 15%: We offer you a flat 15% commission, which is independent of how many companies you refer. In line with our transparent pricing policy, we don't do individual terms. Furthermore, 15% tend to be above the market rate as in our experience, other providers pay between 10-12%.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you also offer a discount for the companies I will refer? No, we unfortunately don't. That would be against our transparent pricing policy. In other words, that would mean the companies you refer end up paying a lower price than other companies which just find from work by themselves and purchase through our website. However, you are of course free to share part of your commission with them, effectively providing them with an indirect discount. You would have to handle that on your side though, e.g. the other company would send you an invoice and you forward some of the affiliate commission money to them.
Is this really for life? Yes! As long as a company you have referred is subscribed, you receive the monthly commission. There is no expiry date as long as the company is subscribed. The monthly commission ends once the company cancels their subscription.
Do you also offer commissions on Formwork Starter? Unfortunately not. As mentioned above, Formwork Starter is in line with our mission to provide a very affordable option for very early stage companies. That means we don't make a whole lot of money off Starter and accordingly we unfortunately also can't offer any commission. But the good news is that once you've referred a company which has subscribed to Starter, there's a chance that they might upgrade to QMS + Techdoc later when they grow!
Do you offer individual rates? Unfortunately not. That would be against our transparent pricing. Our rate is 15% for Formwork QMS + Techdoc, as outlined above.
