As mentioned in the prior manual entry, documents are stricter than records. They have a version history, so old versions never get deleted and you can only release them through a review.
Here's what you can do with the document:

Edit with AI: Use our Formwork AI integration to chat with your document and edit it with AI, saving you lots of time.
Delete: Delete this document. Note however, that only documents which haven't been released through a review yet can be deleted. Or in other words, as soon as you've released this document at least once, deletion will no longer be possible and the delete button will change to an archive button, which archives
Move: Move this document to another folder.
Activity: View the associated activity of this document.
Permalink: Get a permalink of this document, which always points to the newest released version. This is very convenient when linking to this document from other documents or records.
Download PDF: Download this document as PDF.
PDF Settings: Customize how the PDF for this document is being created, e.g. in landscape or portrait orientation.
Editing Documents
To edit a document, simply click the Edit button in the top right corner. This will open the Formwork document editor. As a side note, this also makes Formwork different from other eQML software, which often doesn't come with a built-in rich text editor.
Internally, the Formwork document editor is based on the markdown syntax. You can view the underlying markdown of each document by scrolling down and clicking on the Markdown tab.
Note: Recently we've shipped the Formwork Google Drive integration as a new document editing experience, which you can choose to use instead of the Formwork Document Editor. We will continue to support both options as different people have different preferences which editor to use.
