Records

Records don't have versioning and are overwritten.

On the surface, records are very similar to documents, but they are different in a few key areas. Most notably records can be released without a review and they don't have a strict version history, so Formwork won't be saving past released versions of a record when you change it.

Here's what you can do with a record:
Formwork record actions

  • Edit with AI: Use our Formwork AI integration to chat with your record and edit it with AI, saving you lots of time.

Editing Records

Editing records works just like editing documents in Formwork. Refer to the manual entry for documents to see how that works.
